List of Top Five Most Common Car Problem Causes

It is quite difficult to make a list of the car problems as anything can go wrong at any time. Still, you need to be cautious. Maintaining a car means not only to fill it with petrol or wipe the windows. You need to do something more than that. Also, if you deal with the small problems at the beginning, it will save your time and money that you have to waste on bigger trouble. Some frequent car problems you face are flat car tyres, clogged air filter, etc. Here are some more common problems that give you recurrent trouble-

Flat Tire- It is one of the most common problems but fixing it is not difficult. A driver should have appropriate tools for fixing car tyres.

Also, checking car tyres once in a month is necessary to see whether those are over or under inflated.
  • Under inflation of tyre pressure can cause too much fuel consumption and makes those weary.
  • Over inflation reduce traction.
  • If you want longevity of your tubeless tyres and save fuel, always check tyre pressure.
Clogged Air Filter-

While buying a car, you are provided with an owner manual. You will find several maintenance tips over there. It recommends changing and maintaining the air filters of your car so that the engine gets better air flow. Thus, the engine will be in good condition for longer period and more power and your fuel consumption will be limited.

Dead Battery-

One of the most common problems you face if you have a car. How irritating you feel when you’re in hurry and your car is not getting start? No sound at all. Check out the battery. Maybe it is old enough to serve and you didn't notice. Change the battery on time and avoid such harassment.

Low Engine Oil -
Filling your car with petrol is not the ultimate thing.
  • You need to check petrol before every driving.
  • Dirty oil can make the engine weary while low level of oil can result in overheating.
  • Also, the low level means there is no lubrication and it causes severe damage to the car engine.
  • If you want to increase the longevity of the engine, you should change oil regularly.
Weary Wind-shield Wiper Blades-

Worn-out and rigid wiper blades can hamper the visibility, specifically while driving in bad weather (fog, rain or snow). Thus, the chances of having an accident increase a lot. Examine those blades regularly. If you find those weary, change those before it is too late.

These are some common problems you face if you have a car. There is something more you should check out, like-
  • Any leaks like oil or fluid leaks, coolant leaks, etc. You should fix it when it is small, otherwise it will bring bigger trouble.
  • Fix those broken head and taillights of your car for safe driving at night.
  • Any electronic or electric problems take much time to be fixed as mechanics find it tricky to reach the exact damage. Maybe it is the bad weather, moisture or dirt, responsible for electronic problems.
Fix those timely and have a safe driving.
